Historical or Biographical Note

Benjamin Hubbard Caldwell is a native of Humboldt, Tennessee. He attended undergraduate school at Vanderbilt University, and then Cornell University for medical school. The Caldwell family donated an extensive medical artifacts collection to the Eskind Biomedical Library at Vanderbilt University in 2006.
