Historical or Biographical Note

Robert J. Boucek, Jr., M.D., was born in Washington, D.C., in 1944. He received his M.D. and M.S. in Biochemistry at Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans in 1969. He served as a fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 1973 to 1976 and was appointed to the position of Associate Professor of Biochemistry and Pediatric Cardiology in 1976.
