Biographical / Historical
James Vaughan Staros went to Dartmouth College to get his A.B. degree in Biology/ Chemistry in 1969 and completed his Ph.D. from Yale University in 1974 followed by post doctoral from Harvard University. He came to Vanderbilt as an assistant professor of Biochemistry in 1978.
