Historical or Biographical Note
Dr. John H. Beveridge is a professor of radiology and radiological science, emeritus (effective 1995), at Vanderbilt University. He has been on the radiology faculty since 1950 as well as serving as a hospital staff member at General Hospital, Saint Thomas Hospital, Baptist Hospital, and Vanderbilt Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, and the Tennessee Radiological Society.
During his career, Beveridge has made significant contributions to radiological studies, most valuably his incredible teaching file of abnormalities demonstrated by fluoroscopy, which he has developed throughout his distinguished career and has given to Vanderbilt University.
