Biographical / Historical
Ann Hutcheson Price graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1971 with a Chemistry degree and worked as a laboratory technician at University of Alabama. In 1974, she returned to Vanderbilt to attend medical school and received her M.D. in 1978 along with the Founder’s Medal from School of Medicine during the commencement ceremony along with the Upjohn Award for Excellence to honor her outstanding record of achievement in medical school. She also completed her residency in internal medicine at Vanderbilt. She served as Associate Dean of Medical Alumni Affairs (VMAA) from 2008 until 2021. Presently, she remains with VMAA serving in a physician liaison role.
