Biographical / Historical
Roanld Rhoads Price graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Western Kentucky University in 1965. He received his Ph. D. degree in Physics from Vanderbilt University. After completion, he started working at Vanderbilt Medical Center in the Division of Nuclear Medicine and Biophysics before instructing in the Department of Radiology.
Price was appointed as assistant professor of radiology in 1975, and became full-fledged professor of radiology in 1986. In 1994, he joined Department of Physics and Astronomy as a professor of Medical physics.
