Biographical / Historical

Dr. Oren Austin Oliver is a native of Virginia and he graduated from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1909 and studied for one year in the School of Medicine at Emory. He later left his practice in New Castle, Virginia, for post graduate work at Harvard, the Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Dewey School of Orthodontia in Kansas City.

From 1917 until 1926 he was Professor of Orthodontics at Vanderbilt University School of Dentistry, and a member of Executive Council. He died in Nashville, TN in 1965.
