Biographical / Historical
Eugene C. Klatte went to Indiana University to earn his chemistry degree in 1949 and later he graduated top of his class at Indiana University School of Medicine in 1952. He completed his internship at the University of Michigan in 1953 and later joined the United States Air Force which introduced him to radiology. In 1955, he finished his military service and became a resident at the University of California in San Francisco and later returned to Indiana University as an instructor in radiology. He came to Vanderbilt in 1962, as chairman of the department of radiology.
