Biographical / Historical
Sandra Gustafson Kirchner is a native of Worcester, Massachusetts and went to Wesley College to get her BA degree in Chemistry from 1958 - 1962. She later got her M.D. degree from Cornell University Medical College in 1967. She came to Vanderbilt in 1970 to do her residency in radiology and became Chief Resident in Radiology. She later joined the faculty in the School of Medicine in 1973 as an Assistant Professor of Radiology.
