Biographical / Historical
Tadashi Inagami, PhD, DSc was Professor of Biochemistry at vanderbilt University School of Medicine. His research focused on revealing the biochemical basis for hypertension, heart failure and vascular disease.
Dr. Inagami was born in Kobe, Japan and earned his PhD as a Fulbright Scholar from Yale University in 1958 and a Doctor of Science degree from Kyoto University in 1963. He had been a member of the Vanderbilt faculty since 1966 and contined working until his retirment and elevation to emeritus status in 2012.
He died in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 13, 2023 at the age of 92.
