Biographical / Historical
Billt Hudson completed his B.S. Chemistry and Physics in 1962 from Henderson State Teachers College and M.S. Biochemistry, University of Tennessee Medical School in 1964. He later got his Ph.D. Biochemistry, University of Iowa in 1966. He worked with Universitry of Kansas for 28 years before coming to Vanderbilt along with his 12 member team includinh his wife, an anasthesiologist. As of 2024, Elliot is currently serving as Director Center of Matrix Biology, Elliott V. Newman Professor Medicine, Professor Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology and Professor Biochemistry.
