Biographical / Historical

Dario A. Giuse has obtained his computer science degree from Politecnico di Milano in Italy in 1979 and completed his M.S. in Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University in 1993. He had long standing reasearch interests in the application of computer systems to facilitate real-world work processes. He came to Vanderbilt UNiversity as an associate professor of Biomedical informatics in 1994 and later took up a secondary appointment as an associate professor of Computer Science in 1996.
