Biographical / Historical
Michael P. Diamond was born in New York and obtained his B.A. degree in Biochemistry in NewYork, 1977 and later got his M.D. degree from VUMC in 1981. He completed his post graduate training including residency at VUMC and went to Yale University as a fellow in endoronology and continued for 6 yeras with them. He later came back to Vanderbilt as an assistant professor in 1991 and remaind until his departure in 1994 when he accepted an appointment at Wayne State University.
