Biographical / Historical
Richard Stanley Burns was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and completed his bachelors from University of Minnesota, M. D. from University of Minnesota Medical School and later worked as a research associate with NIDA National Polydrug Collaborative Project in San Francisco, California. At Vanderbilt University School of Medicine Dr. Burns conducted reasearch on Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders in the Department of Neurology, Parkinson's Disease Clinic.
