Historical or Biographical Note
Wayne F. Anderson, Ph.D. received his education in molecular biophysics and biochemistry at Yale University in 1975 and completed post-doctoral work at the Institute of Molecular Biology at the University of Oregon. He was recruited to Vanderbilt in 1988. He had previously taught at the University of Alberta. At Vanderbilt, Dr. Anderson directed the X-ray crystallography laboratory in Vanderbilt's first Medical Research Building.
