Historical or Biographical Note

Bill Gunter Sr. worked with the Vanderbilt Medical School for several years, beginning at its location in the Litterer Laboratory in South Nashville. As a diener, he was charged with the preparation, maintenance, and distribution of cadavers. Gunter worked for both the Departments of Anatomy and Pathology.
