Scope and Contents

Papers and materials relating to the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine Centennial Celebration. The series on the exhibit includes original and copied documents of minutes of Advisory Council and Board of Trust meetings discussing the development of the university; professors' tickets, lecture tickets, and matricultation tickets; and photographs of the Medical School. The series on the lecture slides includes lantern and 2x2 slides of materials used in the exhibit. The series on the Centennial Celebration includes publications recording and promoting the centennial celebration, featuring the Alumni Magazine,photographs from the celebration, and a log of visiors who attended the celebration.

Includes documents, pictures, and other material following the development of the School of Medicine, as well as presentation slides on the exhibit and publications and photographs of the celebration itself.
