Biographical / Historical
Julius Caesar Davis was born in Waynesville, North Carolina April 10, 1873 the son of Frank M. and Angeline Ferguson Davis. He graduated from the Medical Department of Vanderbilt University in 1902. He practiced medicine in Haskell County Texas for many years and served as a member of the House in the Texas State Legislature from 1934 to 1938. He died in Rule, Texas June 21, 1966.

Collection of photographs associated with Dr. Julius Caesar Davis who was a 1902 graduate of the Medical Department of Vanderbilt University. Most of the picutres are of the Vanderbilt campus during the time Dr. Davis was a student at Vanderbilt.

Condition Description
Several of the photographs are in poor condition. One of the pictures is broken in two, and others are chipped, flaked, or torn, or have their cardboard mats damaged.
