Historical Note - Cullom & Ghertner Company

Cullom & Ghertner Co. was cofounded by Simon Ghertner (1882-1945) and Joseph Alexander Cullom (1872-1965) in approximately 1906. Some sources indicate the company was founded in 1910. Simon Ghertner had been working at the Delcher Printing Company where Cullom was foreman. The two went into business together and rented a place at 309 or 311 5th Ave. N. in Nashville, Tennessee.

Cullom sold his share of the business in 1926. The company was sold to Victor Business Forms Division, also known as Victor Technology.
