Biographical / Historical
Lucius T. Outlaw, Jr., was born in Starkville, Mississippi, in 1944, and received his BA from Fisk University in Nashville. He started teaching at Vanderbilt in 2000 and is currently the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education and Professor of Philosophy, of African American and Diaspora Studies, and of Human and Organizational Development.
