North Doors, The northern doors of the Florence Baptistry depict twenty eight panels all depicting the Life of Christ and the "Doctors" of the Church. The bronze doors took twenty one years and show incredible details and the artists evolving style. Above the doors, three classical figures represent Saint John the Baptist and two pupils by Giovanni Francesco Rustici (1474-1554).
