Cantoria di Donatello, Donatello was commissioned to create the choir gallery for the Operai del Duomo of Florence in 1433. Image depicts a full frame of the piece and its two levels. The above section showcases an uninterrupted frienze of winged putti dancing behind columns. Below, in the second section, four consoles portray two bronze roundels and two plaques with pairs of putti. Image is a detail of one of the four consoles with a pair of putti.
