Cantoria di Donatello, Donatello was commissioned to create the choir gallery for the Operai del Duomo of Florence in 1433. Image depicts a full frame of the piece and its two levels. The above section showcases an uninterrupted frienze of winged putti dancing behind columns. Above and below this section, the artist chose to frame the putti with medieval and classical decorations of rosettes, vases, and seashells. Below, in the second section, four consoles portray two bronze roundels and two plaques with pairs of putti.
