Perseus with the Head of Medusa, Image depicts the base of the Perseus with the Head of Medusa sculpture. The artist placed four bronze statues within the marble base. The four niches include Mercury, Minerva, Jupiter and Danae. Here, Mercury stands nude with his winged helmet and shoes. His arms are stretched above his head and he looks behind him while lifting one leg. The marble base is also adorned with decorative figures and a Latin inscription.
