Isaiah, In this work, prophet Isaiah stands turned to the right of the composition as he points upward with his right hand. This work once made up the left panel of a triptych in the cathedral of Aix en Provence. The triptych has since been disassembled. The central panel hangs in its original location and the right panel is now at the Musees Royaux des Beaux Arts de Belgique in Brussels. The top portion of the left panel depicting a still life with books was removed by an art dealer in the 19th century.
