The Passion of Christ, This painting depicts various scenes from the Passion of Christ. In the left panel, we see Jesus's entry into Jerusalem, the Last Supper, and the Betrayal of Christ. In the central panel, we see Christ during his arrest, trial, flagellation, and finally his crucifixion. In the right panel, we see the deposition of Christ, Christ appearing to Mary, his burial in the tomb and his resurrection. In the foreground of this panel, we see him carrying his cross to Golgotha.
