Saint Hubert's Vision, This painting depicts the conversion of St. Hubert. In the center of the composition stands a large buck. To the right, St. Hubert kneels awestruck beside his horse, his hunting dogs resting around him. As the story goes, St. Hubert encountered the buck on a hunting trip and saw a cross appear between the buck's antler's just before he tried to kill him. Like in the story of St. Eustace, this lead to the saint's conversion.
