Polyptych of Saint Vincent Ferrer: detail of Saint Sebastian in lower register, This image shows a detail of the polyptych of Saint Vincent Ferrer. There is a central tier, upper tier, and predella. In the upper tier is a central panel depicting the Dead Christ supported by angels, and the annunciation to the Virgin in the two outer panels. In the central register, there are three panels depicting Saint Vincent Ferrer flanked by Saints Christopher and Sebastian. In this detail we see the right panel of the main register showing Saint Sebastian. He is tied to a pillar and pierced with arrows, as in his martyrdom.
