Polyptych, This image shows pieces of a polyptych assembled together but not in their original frame. There are three tiers. In the top tier is the crucifixion scene with an angel to each side. In the middle tier are half-length figures: Ss. Francis, Mary Magdalene, Scholastica, and Benedict. In the bottom central tier are full-length figures: Ss. Christopher, Paul, Peter, John the Baptist, and Michael the Archangel.
