Portrait of Bartolomeo Panciatichi, The portrait shows a half-length sitter from the waist up. He is an older man with a long beard; his face and body are pointed forward toward the viewer. He wears a black hat and black cloak, with frilled red sleeves from the elbow down. In his hand he keeps his finger in a place in a book. At his left side a dog's head is visible. The scenery behind him appears to be a grand hall with contemporary Classical modeled architecture, connecting to the outdoors through the high, large arch in the background. This is a basic record created to enable public access to scanned images. Full research on this image is pending.
