The Virgin Mary holds a rose, Saint Dominic holds lilies and Saint Catherine holds the palm of martyrdom and a wheel rests just behind her. The Madonna and Child are elevated and enlarged while the two saints and surrounding angels are intentionally smaller though all are haloed.
