Virgin and Child Enthroned with Saints, This painting depicts the Virgin and child seated with St. Anne enthroned behind them. To the left of the mother and child is St. John the Baptist (with his sheep) and St. Catherine (with her wheel). To the right is St. Louis (dressed in fleur de lis) and St. Barbara (with a tower behind her). The Christ child holds a ring for St. Catherine who appears to hold a fruit out toward the Christ child. In the background, columns separate the figures from a landscape., 1475-1500
