Vanderbilt photo identifier: SC.MSS.088.TIEP.0140.3; Public Notes: The photograph lists the painter as Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, while ARTstor and the National Gallery of London's website list the painter as his son, Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo.; Given to the National Gallery in London by Misses Cohen as part of the John Samuel collection in 1906.; This is clearly a copy of a fresco by the artist's father, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, but it is unclear whether this painting was done before or after the creation of the fresco.; This is a basic record created to enable public access to scanned images.
