Vanderbilt photo identifier: SC.MSS.088.VENI.0265; Public Notes: This work was in a private collection (Durand-Ruel) in Paris until 1897, then in the collection of Theodore Davis, who then bequeathed the piece to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC in 1915. Now property of the Metropolitan Museum of Art sold for the acquisitions fund on January 31, 2013.
