Florentine Campanile, Along the free-standing campanile within the buildings of the Florence Cathedral on the Piazza del Duomo in Florence, Italy, Donatello completed four standing statues depicting four Old Testament patriarchs and prophets, Abraham, Isaac, Habakkuk (aka. Zuccone) and the Bearded Prophet or Prophet with Scroll. Each statue exemplifies Donatello's mounting naturalistic style and classical craftsmanship. The niches, probably constructed by another artist, perhaps the architect Filippo. The statues are now housed at the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, Florence., ca. 1420-30, Photographed in 1997
