Scope and Contents
The Press and Promotional Materials series (103 items, 3.667 linear feet) consists of newspapers and magazines. The series is organized into six oversize boxes. The boxes contain newspapers, newspaper clippings, and magazines dating from 2008 to 2022 that contain articles and reviews about Dom Flemons, his performances, and his albums, folk music, and the election of former president Barack Obama in 2008. Flemons collected these materials himself over the course of his career.

The physical materials from this collection may be viewed only in the reading room of Vanderbilt’s Special Collections and University Archives.
