Scope and Contents
Events constitute all events programmed and achieved in specific time and space. Typically, they are meetings among groups of colleagues to discuss particular matters. The names of these meetings are diverse: Encuentro, Foro, Movimiento, Reunión, Conferencia, Congreso, Seminario, etc. Usually, Manuel Zapata Olivella’s role was as a participant, as a speaker, or as the event’s organizer. Additionally, the events category includes meetings in which he was receiving an award.
They are organized in alphabetical order. Subcategories of each event appear organized in alphabetic order as well.
Spanish, Portuguese, and French languages appear on the files and are literally transcribed. English is only used when it is necessary to mark describing information that is missed.
