Scope and Contents
This 10-box series contains audiocassettes, videocassettes, floppy diskettes and oversize materials.
The first three boxes contain videocassettes in both VHS and Beta format, covering television program appearances in the early 1980s for the Chicago Tribune and television appearances for Read All About It!, The Secrets of the Hopewell Box and Horse of a Different Color. Also included are tapes from the Freedom Forum 75th Birthday Roast and Toast for Gannett Newspapers’ Allen Neuharth, the 2002 Tiffany Preparatory School graduation ceremony and the 2002 French Bloodstock Agency annual meeting.
The fourth and fifth boxes of videocassettes contain television appearances and interviews related to the Ross Perot campaign and is restricted.
The sixth box contains audiocassettes from Squires’ editorship of the Tribune, cassettes of interviews and floppy diskettes from the Hopewell Box subseries, and the audio version of Horse of a Different Color read by Squires.
The seventh box is restricted and contains cassettes of interviews related to the Perot campaign and campaign music written and performed by supporters.
The last three boxes contain oversize material and include Watergate-era Chicago Tribune newspapers, maps, award plaques, photographs and original signed cartoons by Jeff MacNelly, Dick Locher and Ralph Dunagin.

The physical materials from this collection may be viewed only in the reading room of Vanderbilt’s Special Collections and University Archives.
