Dates: 1930 - 1967

The Holy Trinity Enthroned and Two Angels, Depiction of God the Father enthroned holding the wounded Christ while the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove sits on his left shoulder. God the Father wears a papal tiara while God the Son wears a crown of thorns. The throne on which they sit is ornately decorated. Two angels kneel on either side of the throne holding the drapery that covers Christ.

Vanderbilt photo identifier: SC.MSS.088.FLEM.0382; Public Notes: This painting was once attributed to Joos van der Beke. It's also been speculated that this piece was the work of the Master of Flemalle. The photographer's mark is in the bottom right corner.
