Portrait of a Fat Man, Portrait of an unknown fat man sitting in three-quarter view. His hair is cut very short and he wears a fur collar., c. 1430
Vanderbilt photo identifier: SC.MSS.088.FLEM.0374; Public Notes: This painting was once attributed to Rogier van der Weyden. The identity of this sitter has been debated. He has been previously as Robert de Masmines and Niccolo Strozzi. The sitter looks similar to Van der Weyden's portrayal of Nicodemus in the "Descent from the Cross."
Portrait of a Man, This painting depicts a portrait of an unknown man. He sits in three-quarter view and wears a red turbin., c. 1435
Vanderbilt photo identifier: SC.MSS.088.FLEM.0375; Public Notes: This painting and Campin's "Portrait of a Woman" (also found in the National Gallery, London) were presumably once joined together as a diptych. It is assumed that the man and woman were husband and wife.
Virgin in Glory, This painting depicts the Virgin Mary and Christ child enthroned in the clouds. Mary holds the Christ child with her left hand and a flower in her right hand. Mary's head is surrounded by a large starburst halo and she gazes down at her son. St. Peter is visible in the bottom left corner holding a large key and St. Augustine is visible in the bottom right wearing a mitre. A half crescent moon is visible under Mary's robe., c. 1435-1440

Virgin Suckling the Christ Child, This small round painting depicts the Virgin Mary nursing the Christ child. She gazes down lovingly at her son who looks out toward the viewer. She wears a turban like headscarf.
