The Presentation in the Temple, Scene of the presentation of the infant Christ in the temple. The holy figures are accompanied by two kneeling patrons. The scene is believed to be set in the Notre Dame in Dijon and the unknown artist may have belonged to the school of Tournai., c. 1430

Vanderbilt photo identifier: SC.MSS.088.FLEM.0088; Public Notes: This piece originated from the Ducal Chapel which was then kept by the Prior of the Chartreuse, Dom Bonaventure Durand, in 1791. It was bought in 1894 by M.E. Pelletier.
