Martyrdom of Saint Stephen, Painting depicts the martyrdom of Saint Sebastian, the first martyr portrayed in the New Testament, found in the book of Acts. Here a crowd gathers around a kneeling and praying Stephen. True to the biblical scene the crowd holds and throws stones at the saint, accompanied by soldiers in the background. In the sky both Jesus and YHWH are portrayed surrounded by angels.

Saint Louis of Toulouse and Saint George, Painting depicts a variation of the Saint George and the Dragon tale. Painting shows both Saint Louis of Toulous and Saint George stand over a princess who is sitting upon a dragon. Saint George is depicted in armor with his hands outstretched before his horse, the princess is in royal finery and crown, Saint Louis is depicted in full clerical regalia., 1552-23

Saint Sebastian, Painting depicts a scene from the hagiography of Saint Sebastian, depicted here, tied to a tree as arrows piece his body. The scene takes place in an outdoor landscape which is full of male archers in various stages of shooting the near nude saint.

Saint Sebastian, Painting depicts a scene in which a saint stands, barely dressed, one arm above his head. He stands among numerous people in a variety of states. The sky has opened up to reveal the outlines of heavenly figures. The scene takes place outdoors but surrounded by columned architecture.

Saint Sebastian, Painting depicts the martyrdom of Saint Sebastian, the third century saint said to have been martyred by Diocletian during a period of Christian persecution. Sebastian appears here as a young man, naked with the exception of a small loin cloth. He has one hand bound above his head and another behind him. He has one arrow in his hip and he looks down with his eyes closed.
