Benedictory Infant Jesus, with the symbols of the Passion, Sculpture depicts a small statue of the Christ child modeled after Desiderio da Settignano's tabernacle at Florence’s Church of San Lorenzo. The Christ child holds a crown of thorns and three nails in his left hand and his right hand is raised in a gesture of of blessing. This sculpture differs from Settignano's in the heightened state of realism of Ferrucci's., 1486-1487
