Madonna and Child with Saint Catherine of Siena and a Carthusian, Painting depicts the Madonna and Child with two saints, Saint Catherine of Siena and a Carthusian monk. The Virgin Mary holds a flower in her left hand and an open book rests on her lap. Saint Catherine holds a crucifixion in one hand and the palm of martyrdom in the other. The monk clasps his hands in prayer. The scene take place outdoors before a body of water and a cityscape., 1488 - 1494
