Mystical Marriage of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, This image shows the scene of the mystical marriage of St. Catherine of Alexandria. Here, Mary holds the Christ Child on her lap while she gazes at the viewer. The Christ Child, standing on her lap, gives a ring to St. Catherine, who kneels before Him with head bowed and hand upraised. Mary and Jesus are enthroned majestically, and a pitcher of roses sits to the right side of the composition., 1430
