Portrait of a Young Man of the Spinola Family, One of the artist's early Italian portraits, this painting depicts a young man of the Spinola family. He wears a large ruff. He stands in a bit of a contrapasto stance, holding a hat in his right hand and looking into the distance. A Solomonic column stands in the background behind him. At the base of the column is the Spinola family crest.
