Judgment of Solomon, This painting depicts the famous story of Solomon deciding which of two mothers is the true mother of a child. This painting captures the moment when the true mother cries out as the baby is about to be cut in half, thus proving herself to be the true mother. King Solomon sits above them in front of two statues, surrounded by a large man, children, a dwarf and a dog., 1726-1728
