Madonna and Child Enthroned, This image shows the Madonna and Child enthroned in half-length view. There are sprigs of fruit above, and partial depictions of saints to either side - St. Sebastian on the right., 1475-1498
Vanderbilt photo identifier: SC.MSS.088.VENI.0609; Public Notes: It appears that this work is a fragment of a larger work, as partial views of saints to either side are visible, and because works such as this usually showed the Madonna and Child in full-length view with standing saints beside them. It is probably the Madonna with Julian and Sebastian from Ascoli mentioned by Berenson (1932) p.2.
Polyptych, This image shows a framed polyptych with: (L-R) St. Emidius, St. Mauro, the Virgin and Child enthroned, St. Augustine, St. Stephen. The first three saints are dressed in bishop's vestments and hold crosiers, and St. Stephen holds a book and a martyr's palm and has stones on his head and shoulders., 1483
