Madonna and Child, This image shows the Madonna and Child set against a lush landscape. Mary gazes at the Christ Child, who sleeps peacefully on her lap. She holds her hands together in penitence., 1470-1480

The Adoration of the Magi, This painting depicts the Biblical scene of the adoration of the Magi. Mary and the infant Christ child sit in the center of the composition. They are surrounded by Joseph, a young boy, and the three Magi. One of the kings bends down to kiss the Christ child's feet. The Northern Star shines in the sky in the top left corner., c. 1500-1525
