Il Trittico dei Frari (The Triptych of the Frari [church]) (St. Mark with Four Saints), In this triptych is depicted St. Mark the Evangelist in the center, enthroned with angels, and in the left panel is shown St. John the Baptist and St. Jerome. St. John the Baptist holds a cross and a banner "Ecce Agnus [Dei]" and St. Jerome holds a church model. In the right panel, St. Panel holds an open book and reads, and St. Nicholas of Bari holds a closed book under his arm and a crosier., 1474

The image shows St. Mark enthroned, giving the sign of blessing and holding a book, presumably the Gospel(s). He is surrounded by angels, two are playing musical instruments. Also, three angels/cherubs surround the lunette of the throne above his head and hold garlands of fruit., 1474
